Cashew Grading & Sorting Machine

W180 to W450, sorted by size and colour

Kernel grading and optical colour-sorting machines that separate peeled cashews into export grades — by size (W180–W450) and by colour class.

What it does

The TTQ Cashew Grading Machine sorts peeled kernels into the standard export grades — whole white grades from W180 to W450, plus scorched, splits, butts and pieces — by size and shape. Paired with an optical colour sorter, it also separates kernels by colour to meet white-grade specifications automatically. Consistent grading is what lets a processor sell to export specification and price each grade correctly; the machine typically handles 300–1,000 kg/hr.

Why this machine

Built for yield & uptime

Full W-grade range

Calibrated decks separate whole kernels into W180 through W450 export classes.

Optical colour sorting

A CCD colour sorter removes scorched and off-white kernels to hold white-grade specs.

Grade to export spec

Repeatable, machine-set grading lets you price and ship each class correctly.

Protects premium grades

Gentle handling keeps whole kernels whole through the grading stage.

Kernel grading / classification — models

Roller classifiers that sort peeled kernels into W-grades by size. More axes (rollers) = higher throughput.

Optical colour sorters — models

Camera-based sorting that separates kernels by colour class and removes defects at high speed.

On the line

Where it fits in the process

Grading and sorting follow peeling and precede vacuum packing. The graded, colour-sorted kernels are what the packing line seals into export-ready lots.

Answers

Cashew Grading & Sorting Machine — FAQ

What cashew grades does the machine sort?
The standard white whole grades W180, W210, W240, W320, W400 and W450, plus scorched grades, splits, butts and pieces.
Do I need a separate colour sorter?
Size grading and colour sorting are complementary. A CCD colour sorter removes off-colour and scorched kernels to meet white-grade export specs; it can be integrated with the grader.
What is the difference between W240 and W320?
The number is kernels per pound — W240 is larger (about 220–240 per lb) and pricier; W320 (about 300–320 per lb) is the most traded grade. The machine separates both automatically.
