What it does

The TTQ Cashew Nut Cutting Machine performs the shell-cutting stage: a size-matched blade pair splits the steamed nut along its seam and separates the kernel from the shell in one action. Available as semi-automatic (operator-fed) and fully automatic units, it delivers clean, repeatable cuts that protect whole-kernel grades. Cutting throughput ranges from about 100 kg/hr per semi-auto station to 1,200 kg/hr on a multi-head automatic machine.

Is cutting the same as shelling?
Yes — cutting is how the automatic shelling stage works: the blade cuts the shell to release the kernel. It is different from peeling, which removes the brown skin later.
Semi-automatic or fully automatic — which should I choose?
Semi-auto stations are lower-cost and flexible for small plants; fully automatic cutting suits high-volume lines targeting 1,200 kg/hr. Many plants run both.
How often do blades need service?
Blades are re-sharpened periodically depending on volume; they are hardened and re-indexable, so full replacement is infrequent.
