Cashew Steaming Machine
Soften shells, protect kernels
A steaming / cooking unit that conditions raw nuts with 20–25 minutes of pressurised steam, softening the shell so it cuts cleanly without scorching the kernel.

The TTQ Cashew Steaming Machine (cooker) pressure-steams raw cashew nuts for about 20–25 minutes before shelling. Steaming softens and loosens the hard shell so the cutting blades split it cleanly, and it conditions the caustic shell liquid (CNSL) — together protecting the kernel and raising whole-kernel yield. Batches are steamed at controlled pressure and time, then cooled and rested before grading and cutting. Capacities scale from small batch cookers to continuous units for automatic lines.

Built for yield & uptime
Even shell softening
Uniform pressurised steam loosens every shell so cutting is clean and low-breakage.
Higher whole-kernel yield
Properly steamed nuts cut along the seam — protecting W-grade wholes.
Shell-fired steam
Pairs with the shell burner or boiler so steam is raised from the plant’s own waste.
Timed, repeatable cycles
Pressure and time are held to a recipe for consistent batches.

Steaming / conditioning — models
Steam softens the shell before cutting so kernels release whole. Batch sizes from 300 kg to 1,000 kg.

Where it fits in the process
Steaming sits between raw-nut grading and shelling: graded nuts are steamed, cooled and rested, then fed to the cutting machine.
