Answers

Frequently asked questions

What machines do I need to start a cashew processing plant?
A complete cashew line uses a raw-nut grading machine, a steaming/cooking unit, a shelling (cutting) machine, a dryer, a peeling machine, a kernel grading and colour-sorting machine, and a vacuum packing line. TTQ supplies each machine individually or as one integrated, PLC-automated line.
What is the difference between shelling and peeling?
Shelling (also called cutting) cracks and removes the hard outer shell from the raw cashew nut to release the kernel. Peeling removes the thin brown skin (testa) from the kernel after drying — two separate stages, two different machines. Read the full comparison →
How much does a cashew processing machine cost?
A basic shelling machine typically starts around USD 5,000–10,000, while a complete small-scale automated line ranges from roughly USD 50,000–100,000 depending on capacity and automation level. See our machine price guide or request a costed proposal.
Which countries does TTQ Co. Ltd. serve?
TTQ has delivered cashew machinery and turnkey plants in more than 25 countries across Asia, Africa, South America and Europe — including Vietnam, India, Cambodia, Tanzania, Nigeria, Ghana, Côte d'Ivoire, Mozambique, Brazil, Sri Lanka and Indonesia.
What is the daily capacity of a fully automatic cashew line?
A fully automatic TTQ cashew processing line can handle around 10 tonnes of raw cashew nuts per day, with shelling capacities up to about 1,200 kg/hr on a 16-head machine.
